Attend the Graduate Symposium and earn ECTS credits!
Our annual graduate symposium is an opportunity to hear talks from experts in their fields, get a strong idea of the foundations and future challenges for computational trust research, and network with colleagues and peers in a friendly (and fun) environment. The current draft of the program can be found here.
We can promise stimulating talks and discussions and new colleagues, as well as a head start on the conference itself. Participation to the graduate symposium and main conference amounts to 1.5 ECTS credits. This will be supported by a participation certificate issued by the organizing committee. This symposium is especially worthwhile for graduate students and early career researchers.

Welcome to IFIPTM 2017 in Gothenburg!
IFIPTM, the IFIP WG 11.11 International Conference on Trust Management is coming to Gothenburg! There, the trust management community will convene for five days and engage in inspiring talks, technical demonstrations, a graduate symposium, and many other activities. The mission of the IFIP TM Conference is to share research solutions to problems of Trust and Trust management, including related Security and Privacy issues, and to identify new issues and directions for future research and development work.
This year, we are particularly happy to offer a Special Track on “Trust on the Road”. Gothenburg is home of the Volvo group and a host of automotive suppliers. In cooperation with the local industry, IFIPTM 2017 will explore the role trust plays in the increasingly connected fleets of the future.
Gothenburg is a premier spot at the coast of Kattegat, where the Baltic and North sea connect. It is a lively metropolis with a rich industrial and cultural history. In recent years, Gothenburg has re-invented itself as a city of innovation, knowledge, service, outdoor recreation, and nightlife. The city is home to more than 50.000 students, Scandinavia’s largest sea port, two universities, and is one of the fastest growing areas in Sweden. At the same time, Gothenburg was and is open to the world. The fact that Gothenburg is one of the two official names of the city (the other being Göteborg) is a testament to this fact.
The entire IFIPTM 2017 team is looking forward to welcoming you in this vibrant and beautiful city!
